Meet Richmond Hill Optometrist, Dr. Natalie Bissoon
The legacy of eye care continues at this Richmond Hill location with care be provided by Dr. Natalie Bissoon. The rich heritage and longevity of this office is a testament to the Richmond Hill community. We are currently examining eyes of grandchildren that were patients of the founding eye doctor in 1923. Dr. Bissoon will be proud to celebrate the 100 year anniversary of eye doctors at this office in 2023
Dr. Bissoon is a graduate of the Pennsylvania College of Optometry. She is an Adjunct Professor at New York City College of Technology where she lectures in the Vision Care Department. Some of the courses Dr. Bissoon has lectured in include Anatomy of the Eye, Principles of Optics, Refraction, and Contact lens labs. She also supervises students and provides eye care in the clinic.
The office provides comprehensive eye exams with a sophisticated selection of eyewear. Dr. Bissoon fits all types of contact lenses including toric for astigmatism, rigid gas permeable contacts for disorders such as kerataconus, bifocal contact lenses, as well as spherical and colored contact lenses. Dr. Bissoon is a board certified optometrist and manages ocular manifestations of systemic diseases like diabetes, hypertension, and HIV to name a few.
Dr. Bissoon is the proud mother of a 9 year old vivacious son and a beautiful 8 year old daughter. This makes her a caring and sensitive practitioner to your children. A child’s vision is one of the most important tools of learning.
